Tony's and Pharrell Williams are going to work together

Maybe you already heard it, but eh... yep! Tony's and Pharrell. We're going to work together. Because we have the same mission: we fight for a fair and equal world. And we will help each other with that. How? Well.. we're gonna make some noise! Yes, together we will make a lot of noise by starting projects with which we make a positive impact.

What exactly is that collaboration? 
You have of course already seen it at Tony's FAIR. Because that's where we announced our long-term collaboration with Pharrell. And...how cool was that?! At least we thought so. But you may be wondering: what exactly are you going to do together? We explain this below. Are you reading along?   

The long answer is that we will work together to put an end to modern slavery and illegal child labor in the cocoa industry and to social and income inequality in the US. We have a lot of knowledge and our friend Pharrell is full of ideas and has a platform to share these ideas with the rest of the world. Or if you preferred the short answer: we have a lot of plans and ideas together, but unfortunately we can't tell you too much about them yet. Our first collaboration should give you a good idea of ​​where we want to go; to kick things off, Tony's will support Pharrell's Black Ambition Program. 

What is Black Ambition?  
Pharrell has been working on it for a long time, but recently his idea became reality. Black Ambition is a non-profit organization with which he creates opportunities for black and Latin American entrepreneurs, including by coaching them and helping them obtain funding. Black Ambition does this through two pitch competitions: the Black Ambition HBCU Prize and the Black Ambition Prize.   

Black Ambition wants to make inclusive entrepreneurship the new normal. Sounds good right? Not only is entrepreneurship one of our core values, it is also our mission to make the world and the chocolate industry more equal. Sooo... that's why Black Ambition seemed like the perfect start to our collaboration.  

How does Tony's support Black Ambition? 
The chocolate fans in the US are in luck! Because there we launched a special Black Ambition bar with a Black Ambition wrapper and a mix of milk chocolate, caramel, almond, nougat, pretzel and sea salt. So hee.. all in one bar?! Yep, that makes your mouth water. 

Every Black Ambition bar contributes to the funding of the Black Ambition prizes. In addition, we also give them a helping hand by sharing our knowledge about how to run an impact company.  

What else are we going to do? 
We would really like to share that with you, but unfortunately that is not possible. Top secret and stuff, you know. We can already tell you that it won't stop there, because we want to make a big impact together with Pharrell. More soon!
