Tony’s Chocolonely stops selling chocolate milk

Yes.. you’ve read it here first. We stop selling chocolate milk.

Please let us explain why we chose to do this. Tony’s Chocolonely exists to end exploitation in the cocoa industry. One of our 5 sourcing principles is to pay a higher price for our cocoa beans to small holder farmers in West-Africa. More beans = more impact = more income for these farmers. We want to achieve this goal as fast as possible and therefor we chose to focus more on our other product ranges, such as bars. Chocolate milk contains 2% cocoa powder, while our bars contain between 32% and 70% of cocoa.

However, we do have an amazing recipe for you. If you want to keep drinking chocolate milk made from Tony’s Chocolonely cocoa, here’s how to do it!

the recipe:

• pick your favourite Tiny Tony (we advise milk, milk caramel sea salt or dark)
• remove it from the package and put it in your cup
• fill the cup with +/- 200ml of hot milk
• Wait a few seconds and stir
• enjoy a cup of chocolate!
