Students and pupils worldwide organize events to draw attention to modern slavery and at the same time celebrate their own freedom. Because unfortunately that is not yet self-evident for everyone. About 40 million modern slaves work there, of which at least 10 million are children.

Today is #myfreedomday: an initiative by CNN in which students worldwide take a stand against modern slavery. Because modern slavery still occurs today, not only in cocoa, but in many industries. About 40 million modern slaves work there, of which at least 10 million are children.
